I was vacationing in Atlanta from out of state. I was looking for a higher end shotgun than was available in my local market. I dealt with Jim Hinsdale. I told Jim that I really wanted to just handle certain guns, and that I really wasn’t prepared to buy that day. Jim still enthusiastically showed me several guns in the range I was looking for. He offered advice without any pressure. He did a great sales job even though I had told him not to expect a sale. Long story short, I bought the gun. This is a great “old school” gun shop. It exudes class. Their new guns as well as their used guns were top quality heirloom pieces. It has carpet, leather sofas, and is a place you would want to just hang out in for a while. Not a given with every gun store. Even their displays are more like furniture than typical gun store fixtures. If I lived in Atlanta I would buy here often. I will definitely go back when in town.
